In 2007, Mr. Sheldon was honored as the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association Top Gun Trial Lawyer of the Year, a distinction awarded to attorneys who demonstrate exceptional trial skill and dedication to the plaintiff’s bar. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only organization that recognizes experienced trial lawyers with significant jury trial experience. In addition to his trial work, Mr. Sheldon has been published in the field of personal injury litigation and has lectured to attorneys and law students on trial advocacy.
Mr. Sheldon earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Outside of his practice, he is deeply committed to his community. He has performed substantial pro bono work for the Path of Hope Foundation, where he previously served as a founding board member, and has volunteered with legal clinics serving seniors and the local community.
