GEOFF RILL, ATTORNEY AT LAW

Geoff Rill is a personal injury trial lawyer. His practice focuses on representing individuals who have been injured in auto, motorcycle and pedestrian accidents as well as injuries caused by animal attacks, defective products, transit accidents, dangerous conditions of public property and wrongful death.

Mr. Rill has been a personal injury attorney since 2010 and has extensive jury trial experience. He has won personal injury jury trials in Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside and San Diego County. In 2020, the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association named him the Young Gun Trial Lawyer of the Year. Whereas most attorneys couldn't find the courthouse on a map, the courtroom is Mr. Rill's second home.

In 2022, Mr. Rill was invited to become a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Membership into this exclusive group is limited to civil trial attorneys who have tried at least ten jury trials to verdict as the lead counsel. This is important because when an insurance company makes an unfair offer, the only way to stand up to them is by taking them to court.

Mr. Rill is admitted to practice in all California state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Central and Southern Districts.  He has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star since 2017.  He was chosen by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys (NAOPIA) as one of the Top 10 personal injury attorneys under age 40 in southern California.

Prior to founding his own practice, Mr. Rill was a trial lawyer at a prominent personal injury law firm in Orange County.  During law school, he worked as a Certified Law Clerk in the Hardcore Gang Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney and assisted in the prosecution of gang related homicides. During law school, Mr. Rill volunteered through the San Diego Legal Society to assist victims of domestic violence. Mr. Rill speaks, reads and writes fluently in Spanish and has represented numerous Spanish-only speaking clients. He is an active member of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association and the Orange County Bar Association.

Mr. Rill graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2010, where he excelled in oral advocacy and was awarded for his pro bono legal service. Prior to that, he attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he graduated with a degree in Politics and a minor in History. At Santa Cruz, Mr. Rill was a member of the surf team and was a member of the golf team at Cabrillo College. In his free time, Mr. Rill enjoys spending time with his wife and kids as well as surfing and golfing.
